I offer a wide range of activities for your child that will be fun and stimulating. I have many play and learning activities to suit all needs, ages and stages of development for both indoor and outdoor play.

I provide activities that support the main learning areas:

These activities will include:

Arts and Crafts (e.g. painting, sponging, potato printing, hand and foot prints)
Baking and cooking

Gardening (growing things/digging and finding insects etc.)

Messy play (e.g. sand, water, play dough)
Music (singing, dancing, playing instruments, making instruments)

Reading
Role and imaginary play/dressing up
Small World Toys
Stories
Writing

I limit the time children are permitted to watch TV/DVD’s. What they do watch I always ensure it is suitable for all ages of the children in my care.

Sleep and rest time is usually after lunch. I will normally read a story to the children to encourage them to rest or sleep. This not only enables their food to settle but they can recuperate their energy for the afternoon activities
